The talon unit is filled with unpaired, unbonded dragons. Because their loyalty is questionable (their riders might very well be in the Rebellion's ranks), they're usually given chores and desk jobs, maybe a job in the infirmary or somewhere where they'd have a lot of contact with soldiers and the opportunity to find their rider. *Note: Ranks are based off of the United States Air Force.
