Asher is probably the most adorable boy you will ever meet. Innocent, possessive, and happy-go-lucky, he is a bundle of fluff that always tries to do his best. If you didn't know him personally, you might never guess that he is a demon. He enjoys following and emulating people, though it is rare for him to do this for an extended period of time. He's been told that he is very lovable and easy to tease. As an extremely young demon, he is rather naive, though that may just add to his cuteness factor.

Despite his race, Asher acts more as a human, not acting on impulses but rather on emotions. He holds emotions in a special regard, almost sacred. He cares about his emotions, and about other's, too. He's so careful with emotions, though, that he may become rather awkward, perhaps too reserved or maybe too outgoing. Another rather large negative trait of his is his possessiveness. Because he enjoys following other people around like a little duckling, he becomes possessive with that person, almost childishly. He may act bitterly toward the person who is trying to 'steal' his friend or sabotage their life. Once again because of his childish nature, he is impatient and enjoys annoying people when he is bored.

There are redeeming traits to Asher, though. He is selfless to a fault and may end up being a tool. In addition, he's easy to get along with. Not many people can resist his cuteness. He's full of endless energy and acts in a hyper manner, speaking quickly and never sitting still. As a demon, he is supremely alone most of the time, one of the reasons why he holds emotions so dearly to his heart, so he enjoys the comapny of others whenever he can get it. Also as a demon, he is self-conscious of his race and tries to hide it, usually changing the subject whenever the discussion is about races. Also stemming from this fear of being cast out, he remains neutral in the fight among Kotra, Naam, and the Rebels.

empathy assimiliation - Asher's power isn't necessarily a good thing. But it isn't quite demonic, either. With his ability, he is able to influence others emotions, but only with the emotion he is currently feeling. If he is feeling happy, then the people around him will be happy. Note that he is only able to slightly control this ability. There is no 'off button' for it, though is able to focus on certain people to intensify the influence.
